Hearing loss touches more than 50% of seniors aged 75 years and older. Although most seniors living in retirement residences have a certain degree of age-related hearing loss, many of them ignore it or find the hearing care process very difficult to undertake. One can understand that hearing loss is not necessarily the most important health issue that faces seniors. Moreover, certain seniors are troubled with limited mobility, thus, reducing their capability to begin a hearing care process that can demand multiple visits to clinics outside their residence.
